Chris Eaton (born 1960) is a British Contemporary Christian singer-songwriter. Prior to his solo career, he was a member of the 1980s band Lyrix. He has toured the US to promote his albums,and also toured Europe as opening act for Art Garfunkel in 1998.He wrote Cliff Richard's 1990 Christmas #1 single "Saviour's Day" and has also written songs that have been performed by other CCM artists such as Amy Grant, who recorded a version of Eaton's "Breath of Heaven".

Song written out of Dave personal experience: In 2003 Dave was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer that was attacking the back of his right eye. The out look was bleak. Dave had to undergo 6 months of intense chemotherapy and 25 sessions of intense radiotherapy. Dave was confronted with the fact that his life may be cut short but through this grasped the truth that God would heal him and bring him through the storm. 6 years on Dave is living life to the full and continuing to share his story of healing. Dave got married to the beautiful Sarah in the summer of 2007. The doctors told Dave that he would never be able to have children because of the treatment that he endured but against all the odds Dave and Sarah have a little boy called Jackson.
